Milk Desserts

These odd desserts caught my attention with their good looks. They were similar to shaved ice, but the thinly shaved ice (hidden underneath the toppings, cocoa and toasted coconut) was in fact frozen milk. I liked that they weren’t too sweet.

They reminded me of shaved ice I ate when I was a kid. I enjoyed watching the vendor grind ice into a cup, then drizzle colored flavored syrup all over. It was tasty but probably not very healthy.
