Forbidden Love

Our love never meant to take ahold

You’re a werewolf, I am a vampire

Our custom bids us war, not mingle

Alas, when I first caught sight of you

In that enchanted forest filled with

Vibrant flora, chatting dragonflies

An alluring hulk beast man, I saw

You thought me a beautiful banshee

Yet scream, lunge, and pounce at you I did

You whistled, circled, danced about me

We lost our sense of time passing by

Exhausted we fell onto the grass

Gazing into each other’s eyes, we

Conversed, caressed, and consummated

We met collusively every day

But needed forever together

Who is to say with whom we can’t be

Together we eloped far away

Building our own abode of love and

Nipping each other every moment

There’s no more forbidden love, only

Pure love overflowing from two souls
