Are you a cat or dog person? How about a Komodo dragon person?
Not that anyone should want to have a pet Komodo dragon. Komodo dragons belong in the wild. They are the world’s largest lizards, originating in Indonesia. They are magnificent creatures. I’m fascinated by them.
Alan and I love visiting zoos (we did before the COVID-19 pandemic, anyway). In our state, there’ s a nice zoo that has Komodo dragons. Every time we go there, we make sure to see them. Since we both have chronic illnesses which limit our energy a great deal, we can never tour the whole zoo in one day. So, we prioritize seeing the dragons. They are fun to watch and cute in their own way.
