Happy 20th Anniversary

Alan and I just celebrated our 20^th wedding anniversary. The featured picture was taken on our wedding day twenty years ago. We don’t look like that now of course. We’re older . . . fatter . . . Well, it’s twenty years later. Below is how we look presently.

Before the pandemic, we did an outing to celebrate our anniversary, like visiting a zoo. Since the pandemic, our celebration has been getting lots of food to splurge at home, which we did this year also. We are still in sort of self-quarantine since we both are high-risk. Alan has a disease that affects his lungs and others. I have a rare congenital illness that makes me weak. I’m ambulatory but require a wheelchair for distance walking. On the one hand, it makes us perfect for each other since we understand what the other goes through. On the other hand, a sick person taking care of a fellow sick person is tough at times. All in all, we wouldn’t have it any other way. 😊
