I’m playing Hitman 2, a sandbox stealth game. The protagonist, named Agent 47, is a hired assassin whose job is to take out bad guys. I’m enjoying the game. The graphics are immensely beautiful. The gameplay is addictive (to me anyway). I love exploring and discovering things by chance.

There are extremely difficult challenges that I need to look up Hitman gurus on YouTube to learn how to accomplish. And even with exact guides to follow, I still go through multiple trials and errors, because environments (NPCs’ movement, etc.) in my game are different from the videos I watch. Once I succeed, the feeling is celebratory, especially when I can achieve Master Difficulty/Silent Assassin, Suit Only/Sniper Assassin – all in one challenge. That’s when you don’t use any disguises and kill all targets with a sniper rifle without being seen, playing on the highest difficulty. I don’t know how those Hitman experts figure out how to execute such challenges. But I’m glad they exist to help an average gamer like me.

I beat Hitman 1 a while ago and look forward to part 3 (HITMAN World of Assassination).

By the way, El Mijo is the name of the hippo shown in the featured image, a character tied to some challenges in the Hitman 2 mission: Three-Headed Serpent. I think he’s very cute, so I named my post after him 😊.
