You might recall from my previous posts that I’m a vegetarian who likes almost every vegetable. Today I would like to talk about asparagus.
Grilled, well salted asparagus is so delicious. It’s good on its own and serves as an awesome side to any food. I also like it stir-fried. There’s a wonderful grocery store near where my husband and I live. It offers a lot of vegetarian foods. The grilled asparagus shown in the picture here was from that store. I bought a quart to chow down. They were well seasoned, lightly oiled and grilled.
I can’t cook. But I know good dishes from bad ones. Most vegetables need to be salted enough. Sometimes people are too worried about oversalting their foods, and they do the opposite instead. Undersalted foods can be inedible, like their oversalted counterparts. So, everything in moderation!
